Our Platform

RUN's platform is simple. We plan on making our union the strongest in Virginia by increasing responsiveness, lobbying local officials, and fighting for a strong collective bargaining agreement.

Why vote RUN?

"I see them passionately speaking about topics I care about. They engage with other teachers, parents, and the community out of an interest and desire to uncover issues and solutions. They share my desire for a strong union focused on student achievement and teacher retention. I am inspired by their activism and selfless dedication to making Alexandria the BEST place to learn and work. They are the changemakers.
